Autogrill - Florence stands as a notable stop along the A1 highway in Italy, offering travelers a blend of convenience and quality in a bustling setting. Situated at 50012 Firenze FI, this Autogrill lies strategically for those driving between major cities, making it an ideal pit stop for a meal, refuel, or simply a break from the road.

The restaurant’s menu reflects a mix of Italian classics and familiar favorites, with dishes such as carbonara, lasagna, and spaghetti alongside burgers and sandwiches. Signature items like the Burger Italian and Saccottino showcase the brand’s commitment to blending traditional flavors with quick-service efficiency. Coffee lovers find satisfaction in a well-prepared espresso, often paired with a sweet Dolce, while those seeking fresh options can choose from vibrant Insalata Mista salads.

Space-wise, Autogrill - Florence impresses with a large, airy dining area located on the upper floor. This setting accommodates a diverse crowd—from solo travelers needing a quick bite to families desiring a restful meal in a comfortable environment. Accessibility is considered through available lifts, ensuring mobility-challenged visitors can navigate the space with ease. Despite its popularity resulting in crowded moments, especially midday, the atmosphere remains welcoming and organized.

The facility extends beyond food. With a well-stocked shop offering quality local products like olive oil and salami, it provides an opportunity to bring a taste of Italy home. The adjoining gas station serves travelers efficiently, maintaining reasonable prices for a rest stop on the Autostrada.

Customer experiences highlight attentive, warm service and a variety of food choices catering to different preferences. While some note the food leans towards saltier seasoning, most agree the overall quality and variety make it one of the best highway stops along this route. The combination of location, menu diversity, and atmosphere solidifies Autogrill - Florence as more than a mere refueling point—it is a destination for a genuine Italian roadside dining experience.

During our nine-hour drive that day we needed a break. This Autogrill was coming up and we pulled in. There is a surprisingly small number of parking lots, given the size of this Autogrill. So, be patient and wait. Then there's the Autogrill Restaurant, some other dining options and a very good BK on the upper floor. The Autogrill shop also has some good products, which are of good quality (olive oil, salami etc.). The gas station is also a good place to fill up ... fair enough prices for a Autostrada gas station. All in all a good experience. Yes, it was completely packed, but what you expect in summer.

Lovely place for a rest stop. Big, spacious, dining area with many food options on upper level. Lifts available for mobility challenged. Wide range of salads, protein options of baby rack, chicken, burger and steaks. Delicious looking lasagna, spaghetti and other pastas. Hot and cold sandwiches. One of the best if not the best rest top on this trip of long drives.

One of the best service station with bridge-like Autogrill on the A1 between Florence and Bologna (actually before reaching Florence area from Rome). Nice Ciao restaurant, prices a bit high but good variety of food for every taste, nice sitting area, expect quite crowded around lunch time.

Nice place and good friendly service. Very clean. Toilets and showers. Bar and restaurant. Shop with drinks and snacks, toys , wine, local food sweets, biscuits , crisps etc. The bar serves hot drinks. Coffee not bad price. Cappuccino €1.70. Good variety of savouries including Panini which were expensive but huge! Cakes and savouries were of a good quality. About €7. Also pieces of pizza . Again big and about same price. There was only standing at tall tables in the bar. No seating. Also take away sandwiches , cold drinks . In my opinion over priced but probably what you would expect in a service stai on or airport. Would have given it 5 stars if prices had been more reasonable and there was some seating.
